MiiXR: Kickstarter Campaign
Deliver a PR and influencer campaign in the UK and US to support MiiXR in raising $30,000 on Kickstarter.
MiiXR is a revolutionary sports bottle and protein shaker with device charging capability, developed by the original creators of the hugely popular vortex mixer, PROMiXX (used by more than 250,000 people in over 50 countries). Through its incorporation of state-of-the-art technology, MiiXR marks a significant evolution in supplement mixing.
In February 2017, MiiXR launched a $30,000 Kickstarter campaign to support the launch and production of the new product, with a focus on the UK and US fitness and health markets.
We put in place a PR campaign to raise the brand’s profile and engage potential investors to support the Kickstarter. This generated coverage in technology, health, fitness, lifestyle and business channels including ShortList, Trend Hunter, HeDD and Future Sport. We also engaged with social influencers across Instagram and YouTube, including Sport Locker and Elliot Burton, persuading them to talk about MiiXR.
We also developed a product distribution system to engage media once the product launches to the market. This is expected to result in coverage in key fitness and tech titles such as Men’s Fitness, Engadget and Tech Crunch, alongside further support from social influencers.
