Le Col: Crowdfunding
Deliver a PR and social media campaign to support Le Col in raising £1m on Crowdcube.
Founded in 2009 by professional cyclist, Yanto Barker, Le Col strives to design and manufacture the most technical and innovative products available, in order to improve the rider’s experience in all climates and seasons. Le Col sells to customers in over 10 countries, via its online store and through a range of specialist retailers.
In November 2016, Le Col launched a £1m crowdfunding campaign to support the brand’s future development and expansion.
We put in place an integrated campaign to raise the brand’s profile and engage potential investors. This included generating media coverage in influential channels such as the London Evening Standard and City AM, alongside specialist cycling and crowdfunding media. We also ran a social media campaign, sharing content and engaging with influencers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This was amplified through paid social, helping us to reach even more potential investors.
Positive, earned media with a combined reach of over 7 million.
Over 1,100 click-throughs to the crowdfunding site.
Le Col achieved 115% of its fundraising target.
